22 Fév Justin Lockey (Editors) dévoile son side-project, Minor Victories
Parallèlement à Editors pour lequel il est guitariste, Justin Lockey a fait alliance avec son frère, Rachel Goswell (Slowdive) et Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai) pour former ce groupe dont voici le premier single, A Hundred Ropes.
Emmené par Justin Lockey, le guitariste d’Editors, Minor Victories est constitué de Rachel Goswell, la chanteuse de Slowdive (qui a par ailleurs aussi collaboré au dernier Editors, In Dream), de Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai) et de James Lockey, le frère de Justin. Enregistré entre The Weight of Your Love et In Dream – les deux derniers opus d’Editors – le premier album éponyme de Minor Victories se dévoile au travers d’un premier single vraiment très séduisant, A Hundred Ropes, dont le clip a été réalisé en stop motion.
