Intitulé To Be Love, ce titre daterait des années 1970 et de la première session américaine du regretté artiste.

Si après sa mort, beaucoup savaient pertinemment que David Bowie continuerait de dévoiler ses secrets (essentiellement musicaux) à la planète, on ne penserait pas que ce serait aussi rapide et en même lointain. En effet, l’auteur de Blackstar aurait signé ce morceau inédit, To Be Love, lors d’une session d’enregistrement dans les années 70. Un titre qui a été dévoilé sur la Toile par Ron de Strulle, un ingénieur du son qui travaillait aux RR Studios où Bowie a joué ce titre pour la première et dernière fois.

Il poursuit en rendant hommage à l’artiste britannique : « My first impression of David was that he was warm, open, friendly, and not looking for star treatment like most of the other artists who came to RR Studios. He was interested in the production process and excited about anything creative. He was blown away by the studio and very interested in how to get each sound. He loved John Lennon’s vocal effects and George Martin’s way of working with bands of sounds with different frequencies. He couldn’t get over the way we could produce loop delays and reverberation plays. David could pick up an instrument and play anything. He would say ‘I never played this instrument before,’ and then he would cut loose and play. Pure genius.«
