Oasis Comeback: Bonehead, Gem Archer, and Alan White Expected to Return: Here’s What We Know

This tour will be one for the history books.

Oasis isn’t just about the Gallaghers. This raises the question for many fans about the other members.

On guitars, Paul « Bonehead » Arthurs, who was with the band from the beginning until 1999, is expected to be present. Gem Archer, who replaced him after his departure and stayed until the band’s split in 2009, is also likely to be involved.

As for the bass, it’s a choice between the original Paul McGuigan, who stepped aside in 1999, and Andy Bell, who took over from him. On this point, the mystery remains… And why not Russell Pritchard, the bassist for the High Flying Birds?

As for the drums, Alan White, who was with the band from 1995 to 2004, could very well be behind the kit. However, Tony McCarroll (who was with the band until 1995) also seemed interested. Finally, there’s Chris Sharrock, Oasis‘s last drummer (2008-2009), who also played with Beady Eye and High Flying Birds. But according to the latest information, it seems likely that Alan White will be the one.

Finally, the lineup might also include Jay Darlington, the touring keyboardist who played with the band from 2002 to 2009. However, Mike Rowe, who filled in from 1997 to 2001 and also played with the High Flying Birds, could also be in contention for a spot.
