Now that Oasis has officially reunited, we still have a few unanswered questions. Why did Noel Gallagher suddenly change his mind? When did it happen? And how did the reunion between the two brothers go?

As we announced this morning, the Gallagher brothers recently took part in a photo shoot together for the first time in fifteen years. Given their fame, one might wonder how it’s possible that in 2024, two huge stars could reunite without any photos or information leaking the same day. Well, in reality, everything was right in front of us from the beginning.

On July 21st, someone asked Liam Gallagher on X if he was going to get a year off now that his tour was over. He responded, « Not yet Rasta, I got a photo shoot next week so gotta look my best. » When someone else asked if the photo shoot was for the anniversary of Oasis‘s second cult album, Liam replied : « How do you know? » Of course, no one believed him. However, it seems that this time, he was telling the truth.

A few days later, on August 16th, someone asked Liam, « Have you met Noel recently? » and he replied, « Yeah. » Once again, the announcement was right in front of us.

So, how did the reunion between the infamous Gallagher brothers go?

Well, according to the British press, it was Noel who made the first move by calling his younger brother. While we don’t know when these calls took place or what was said, we can still infer that these conversations happened after last summer, as it was reportedly the success of Blur‘s reunion that inspired Noel to reunite Oasis.

Finally, regarding the atmosphere during that famous photo shoot, two British newspapers provide conflicting reports. On one hand, The Sun describes an extremely tense environment. On the other hand, The Daily Mirror claims that the two brothers shared lots of laughs and jokes. We truly hope the latter version is the accurate one.
