01 Mar Un nouvel album pour Johnny Marr

L’ex-guitariste des Smith a annoncé qu’un nouvel album solo était en préparation et sortirait avant la fin de septembre.

Le Mancunian qui avait produit un très bon premier album solo avec The Messenger l’an dernier a déclaré le 26 février dernier aux MNE Awards que son nouvel album serait prêt pour septembre.

En effet après une tournée de 11 mois, Marr souhaite garder la même énergie ainsi que son public. « I’ve got a new record coming out in the end of September, the follow-up to last year’s, » he said. « I wanted to do the second one really quick. For me, it was just about being on tour and wanting to capture the spirit of the band and the audience before it wears off. I’d been touring for 11 months so I wanted to keep that same energy. I didn’t want to over think it. »
